A Harvest of Blessings: Over 2,000 Baptized
and Seven Pastors Ordained in Cambodia
By Kimseng Se | Cambodia Adventist Mission
Under the leadership of Pastor Hang Dara, President of the Cambodia Adventist Mission (CAM), the year 2025 marks a historic season of blessing as more than 2,000 souls committed their lives to follow Jesus through baptism. This remarkable growth has inspired CAM to focus on raising and equipping strong spiritual leaders who will nurture, disciple, and guide the ever-expanding congregation.
On November 1, 2025, CAM celebrated the ordination of seven pastors to the gospel ministry at the Battambang Urban Center of Influence. Each of these dedicated ministers has demonstrated unwavering faith, humble service, and a deep commitment to God’s mission—embodying the church’s vision of developing faithful shepherds to care for His flock.
The sacred service was officiated by leaders from the Southeast Asia Union Mission, including Pastor Lim Pheng, SEUM Ministerial Secretary, Mrs. Agusta Pheng, SEUM Ministerial Spouses Secretary, and Pastor Hang Dara, CAM President and Ministerial Secretary, and Mrs. Bun Sokhom, CAM Ministerial Spouses Secretary, thoughtfully organized the entire program, ensuring a beautiful and meaningful service that brought honor to God.
The ceremony served as a powerful reminder of Christ’s Great Commission found in Matthew 28:19–20, “Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world. Amen.”
